The Tax on Industry, Commerce and Services is an obligation for every person carrying out commercial, industrial, mining and agricultural activities, public and private services, electronic communication, urban development contractors, casinos, banking, saving and loan institutions, insurance providers and any other lucrative activity.
To that effect, a sworn statement must be filed in January of each year regarding the economic activity for the previous year. Its omission may entail a fine equivalent to one month’s tax.
The Municipal Corporation for the Central District approved an extension for filing the sworn income statement until Wednesday February 9th, 2022, as well as a 10% discount for prompt payment.
